Visit these local breweries and brewpubs and experience beers and ales with tons of Pennsylvania Dutch flair.

Lancaster Brewing Company

Located in a former tobacco warehouse, the Lancaster Brewing Company brews great beer with great respect for the old traditions of brewing. Master brewer, Christian Heim, has a strong commitment to quality and uses advanced brewing techniques to produce a consistent and high quality beer. Savor the hopped aromas as they come alive and accentuate the wholesome malt flavors in ales and lagers.

Bube’s Brewery

A 19th century brewery complex, Bube’s is one of the only breweries from the early days of the great American breweries that has been left intact. Today, Bube's operates as not only a microbrewery, but also as an entertainment and dining mecca. In November 2001, the brewery began producing beer again for the first time since 1917. The present day brewery operates in the original brewery's ice house, and the original bottling plant is now home to the Bottling Works tavern.

Conceived with the one, simple goal of brewing the finest ales and lagers possible, the Swashbuckler Brewing Company uses only the best of the four most natural brewing ingredients—English brewing malts, whole hops, pure water and yeast. Maintaining practices that are consistent with age-old, European brewing traditions, its ales and lagers are brewed for superior flavor, aroma, balance, and character.

Stoudt’s Brewing Company

From its inception in 1987, Stoudt’s Brewing Company has had a reputation for brewing some of the finest European-style lagers and ales. In keeping with the German Purity law of 1516, each batch of Stoudt’s beer has always been hand crafted using only four traditional ingredients, using premium malted barley, fresh hops, true brewer’s yeast, and pure Adamstown spring water. For Stoudt’s, only the best will do.
